Easton forks use 'Intelligent Flexibilty' which mean they're
engineered to be stiff and rigid for high performance cornering
but also able to absorb the pounding of the open road for
unparalleled riding comfort.

During fatigue testing these forks survived 200,000 cycles with
a 135 pound load and then 200,000 additional cycles with a 170
pound load. Competing forks all failed between 30,000 and 100,000
cycles with the initial 135 pound load.

On Easton forks Firespan CRS spans the fork crown void to create
an incredibly strong and light crown. The moulded brake-mount hole
eliminates the need for drilling ensuring that the interity of the
fork crown is not compromised
